Section 4. Membership Committee.
The Membership Committee shall consist of a Chairperson and additional members. The President shall designate its Chairperson from the Board of Directors. Other members of this Committee shall be appointed by the Committee Chairperson from either the Board of Directors or from the general membership of the Association. The Membership Committee shall be charged with responsibility for soliciting membership applications, including renewals thereof, from parties interested in supporting the objectives of the Association. This Committee may also exercise such additional powers and functions as may be delegated to it by the Board of Directors.

Section 5. Programs and Publications Committee.
The Programs and Publications Committee shall consist of a Chairperson and additional members. The President shall designate its Chairperson from the Board of Directors. Other members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Committee Chairperson from either the Board of Directors or from the general membership of the Association. The Programs and Publications Committee shall exercise such powers as may be delegated to it by the Board of Directors.

Section 6. Nominating Committee.
The Nominating Committee shall consist of a Chairperson, appointed by the President, and additional members. The Committee shall serve from June through December of the odd-numbered years. Other members shall be appointed by the Committee Chairperson from either the Board of Directors or from the general membership of the Association. Nominations for the Board of Directors for the forthcoming term shall be presented to the general members and for all officers of the Association to such new Board of Directors by the Nominating Committee before the close of the odd-numbered year's Annual General Membership Meeting. The Nominating Committee shall notify the Board of Directors of its nominations prior to the Annual Meeting.

Section 7. Development Committee. The Development Committee consists of a Chairperson and additional members. The Chairperson shall be designated by the President from the Board of Directors. The other members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Chairperson from either the Board of Directors or from the general membership of the Association. The Development Committee, with prior approval of the Board, shall be charged with the responsibility for soliciting funds, including periodic capital campaigns.

Section 8. Other Committees. There may be such other Committees as the Executive Committee shall deem proper and expedient, the Chairperson and membership of which shall be as determined or delegated by the President. The expiration of their term of office shall coincide with that of the Board of Directors, subject, however, to reappointment by the incoming President for another term.
